The brief
Deadbeat Kidx emerged as a bold and innovative concept brand, uniquely dedicated to celebrating women in skate culture.

 

The goal
Craft a brand that resonated with women in skate culture on a deeper level, while creating a platform that would amplify the voices and experiences of an underrepresented faction within the subculture.

 

The solution
Created a set of intricately designed custom character illustrations that revolve around the vibrant theme of Ice Cream. They embrace bold neon colours and employ a flat-style design approach. These characters represented the loud and unspoken voices of the fearless and the unapologetic women of skate culture. The concept translated the essence of Deadbeat Kidx perfectly, as a brand that broke barriers and shattered stereotypes.
